Staying Active

As parents we believe it's very important that our girls stay very active, through different activities, to learn to interact with other kids of all ages, to learn to share, communicate, and grow... !

After doing some research in the internet and in person, we found a great program at "The little Gym" Lake Mary Fl. They offer different programs for different ages, the staff it's friendly, knowledgeable, amazing with kids, great with family of multiples (like us). They have weekly themes...as to they learn to do different exercises, safety, development, sign language !!! What else could you ask for...

The girls attend twice a week...and it's as much as for them, as it is to us....to interact with other parents, see how our girls, discover, learn and grow...it's the best and fasted 45 minutes...

* Safety First *

A few months ago, it was brought up to our attention the importance of the girls learning to swim at an early age.

Specially since we do live in Florida, and pool's and beach access are right there for us.

And the girls....simply love playing in the water...they are water babies.
We found out about this great course on water safety for babies as young as 6 months.

They teach them to float, and turn from their belly to back to float, and to turn around to grab on to a wall.

The course, it's an intense 6 weeks, only 10 minutes per day. And some what stressful as not all babies manage to relax, and cry the entire 6 weeks....poor coaches....yes....just look at the look on Jamie's face after having both girls crying for the 6 weeks. They did relax on the last 2 days...Lol !

They learn to float in summer clothe and winter clothe, teaching them what to do in the case that they fell in the water in summer or winter.

On the last day of class, parent's get to go in the water, and do all the exercises with the babies.

And it's a lot harder than it looks...as you see your little baby floating, you just want to hold them....

Both Erwing and I had a hard time with letting them float on their own. We were both so proud to see them do it without our assistance.

We are happy to share that girls have now graduated, and we are so happy to have sign them up for such a great class....

We will still keep a very close eye on the girls, at all times when around pools, beach and bathtubs.

We believe in safety first, and we highly recommend this class to everyone.

Our Monkey's !

Everyday we find out self's very much amazed by the curiosity the girls have for life...it's so cute every milestone....it's impossible to keep up with all the milestones this days, as there are more and more....
We find our self's laughing and joking about "our little preemie babies, so fragile..." Yet have come a far along away from our preemie days....they are more like "Little Monkeys"

They seem to master the "Art" of "Climbing" everywhere.....I mean everywhere...it's a bit scary, as the minute you turn around they are in top of a table, chair or shelf !!!!

It's amazing how babies (toddlers) at this age, are not scare of anything, and how they want to explore the highest peaks !!! Lol....

Every time, I catch the girls in top of something, they have this great smile, and a sence of peacefulness....in the meantime, while I calmly take the picture..I'm freaking out, and think the worse case scenerio "My little baby can fall and hurt them selfs so badly" At the same time I want so bad to say to them " Good Girls ! Good job " as I'm so proud of them.....

Needless to say, we continue to move and remove the "peaks" from our home...the white shelf that you see Lunamia getting in top of and seating like if it was nothing, has been put away in a closet...and the chair that Leahsofia has manage to climb, (along with the other 3) have also been put away, and we take them out on a need basis only) We also had a Little Tykes Slide in their playroom, and it didn't last long as it only took them 2 days, to figure out how to get in top and dance in top of it....LOL....

Day by Day with Our Twin's

Welcome to our family blog
with our Identical (Momo) Twin Girls...

Life for us at home, it's as normal as everyone else's.
We are your typical family of four.
With two of our member's being very unique, as they are twins.
Same age, same everything, everything in our house with the girls it's times two. We have double of most toys, double stroller's, all their clothe (in pairs), shoes times two, two cribs, two high chairs, everything you can imagine in two's and for the most part, same color, size.
The girls do share a bedroom to sleep in, and they have a separate room to play with. It used to be our living room that had started to look like daycare ! Likely we moved to a bigger place, and for the most part all toys are in their room!!!
Not two days are ever alike, as the girls are growing; every day arrives with a new adventure and milestones. We do our best to keep the basic things in routine. As for the girls to have nice easy days, and learn more. As Lunamia and Leahsofia grow, they teach us to enjoy the very simple things in life. New toys, new food to try, new challenges, new goals, the joys of friendship, laughter and love.
When we (or I) are out with girls; everyone seems to be very curious to see and meet the girls. Sometimes it feels like we are inside this little box, because everywhere we go, we seem to attract attention.
Some very positive and some negative.
The most popular questions and comments ~ "Wow they are so cute" "You’re so blessed"~"How old are they?" and my favorite of all "You must have your hands full". The truth it's that since I only know what's like to have twins, I don't know any different. And at time's things might be a little crazy, life with twins it's just as normal as having one. We believe at times even easier, as the girls are great company to each other, and play together lots.
Allowing me to do other things too (Like every day shores)
